Now I will tell you how I found the Dentavac Clinic and why I chose them. There were no recommendations from previous clients. I researched the internet beginning in November 2008. I was originally e-mailing, phoning and faxing another doctor. After continuing promises that the doctor would get in touch and no follow through for over 2 months, I decided to move on.

I then selected 8 more dental labs to contact and sent them all the same e-mail with my particular problems and hopes. I received only one response (fortunately) and that was from DENTAVAC!! I corresponded with one of the staff, Dra. Sabaja was my personal contact, whenever I had a question about anything. I always had a quick, informative and re assuring response. That made my mind up. I made my appointment. Sent previous x-rays for review. They took care of the rest including suggestions on accommodations. The clinic is just outside of Escazu which is a very posh area. I understand that their clientle is from all over the world. The best part is that their prices are very, very fair. They are very detailed and most important, they are immaculate.

I have just completed having my entire mouth reconstructed by DENTAVAC CLINIC. EVERY tooth in my mouth was prepared for a crown by the very caring and competent and happy staff at DENTAVAC. I had Dr. Arturo Acosta as my primary dentist. I can't tell you enough about how happy I am with the results and improvement to the overall look of my teeth and my mouth. I NOW HAVE THE TEETH AND SMILE I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED!! My teeth were splitting, chipping and breaking a little at a time. I needed a 4 tooth bridge and was advised to join 2 other teeth in a different area for better security. They were also very yellow, which is one of the reasons I decided to have my entire mouth done. I had a cross bite also which was improved. I have always wanted to have white teeth and now I have more beautiful and comfortable teeth than I ever could have imagined! Previously, I had a lot of trouble with food getting caught in between 2 or 3 teeth. That problem no longer exists. As an important aside, don't worry about what your temporary teeth look like, it made me uncomfortable at first until I was re assured the real teeth would look nothing like them. Personally, regarding my experience, I would say that the entire staff has a lot of pride in their workmanship and want the best result that can be accomplished for each individual mouth, bone and tooth structure. I went over my ideas with Dr. Acosta. He listened, was creative, and for my mouth surpassed what I was told could be done in the United States by, whom I believe are very competent dentists. Also, I was concerned about my speech and it is normal. No lisping!!
